If you have been receiving virus warnings, or complaints via email, here is some important information about the MyDoom virus: http://www.microsoft.com/security/antivirus/mydoom.asp Microsoft is claiming that this virus is of moderate severity, however, several other sites have claimed otherwise. January 15, 2004Add-Remove ProgramsThere have been several occasions when I have removed programs from my computer, but can still see them in my Add/Remove List. The other day, I was on a friend's computer, cleaning up some things and saw he had several pop-up engines installed. These silly engines popup ads and annoying IE windows randomly during each user session. Other than being annoying, these popups slow down your computer. Which marketing person thought that ad-repitition with popups would sell a product..?? Annoyance does not equal sales!
